Midweek Update: January 27

Midweek Update: January 27

Dear Faith Community Church Family,

Our final sermon in our “Called to Community” series is this Sunday, when we will explore our call to a common mission (Matt 28:16-20). Christians are not just saved from sin, we are also saved to a life of purpose in joining with God in his intentions to bring all things under the lordship of Christ. As a church, we are exercising our call to a common mission in several ways. One of those ways is through joining others in our presbytery for a trip to Haiti this summer. If you are interested in participating, we strongly encourage you to consider attending (our joining us via livestream) our informational meeting this Sunday at 4 pm in the Worship Center.

This Sunday: Livestream is available for both 8:30am and 9:45am Services. Click here to join us.

Wedding Gift for Joanna Wierenga and Meng Koh

Many of you have heard the joyful news that on February 15, Joanna Wierenga and Meng Koh will be married in Denver, CO. Joanna and Meng are registered at Target, Amazon and Crate & Barrel. If you would like to participate in a group gift for the couple, donations may be directed to Diane Walker or Susie Wetherington. The deadline for the group gift is February 6.

Caring Network Baby Bottle Drive

Each year, Caring Network, an FCC supported ministry to women considering abortion, holds a baby bottle fundraising drive. This year there are two ways to participate: (1) Filling baby bottles with change and returning them to the church office, (2) or donating through the Caring Network website. A flyer with additional information and baby bottles will be available in the narthex this Sunday.
