October 27, 2021 Midweek Update

Dear Faith Community Church Family,

This Sunday, Teaching Elder Ted Powers will preach God’s Word from Matthew 9:35-38. This passage describes vividly the heart of Jesus for those who were suffering. “When he saw the crowds,” Matthew says, “he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Following the sermon, Ted will provide an update on the work of Chicago Friends of Haiti, a ministry rooted in our presbytery to Haitian pastors and churches whose aim is to bring “hope and health to Haiti.”
