Dear Faith Community Church Family,
The season of Lent is a season of preparation. It is the forty-day period that culminates in the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday. Throughout the forty days of Lent we prepare our hearts through confession, prayer, and repentance. Next Wednesday evening (March 2) we will gather together for our Lenten prayer service at 6:30pm in the Worship Center. The service will be a special time of singing and prayer as we begin the Lenten season together at Faith Community Church.
This Sunday, we continue in our series You Will Be My Witnesses. The sermon text will be Acts 19:21-41 where the preaching of the Gospel turns the city of Ephesus upside down.

Memorial Service in Honor of Carol Day
On Sunday, February 20, our sister Carol Day passed away at 92 years old. Carol’s memorial service will be this Saturday at 10 am in the Worship Center. Following the service there will be a fellowship time in the Mission Center with coffee and refreshments available. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Faith Community Church. If you have any questions, please contact the church office: [email protected]
New Office Staff
We thank God for his provision in providing us with Ellen Horyn and Diane Walker to serve in the church office. Ellen has been hired as our office administrator and Diane will be volunteering on a regular basis to assist with administrative tasks. A word of thanks to Jenny Johnson who has served diligently over these last months by editing and printing the weekly bulletin.
Pre-Service Prayer: Sundays, 9:00-9:20am; Room 3/4
Remember to join us in preparing for worship through prayer this Sunday morning. The pre-service prayer is a time of asking that God would magnify his name through our worship and bring transformation in our midst through the moving of the Holy Spirit and the preaching of his Word. We meet in room 3/4 from 9:00am to 9:20am.
