Dear Faith Community Church Family,
For three weeks we are digging into Ezekiel 17:22-24, the theme passage for our three year vision Called to Flourish. The first Sunday we focused on how to become a flourishing church; this past Sunday we turned our attention to what a flourishing church looks like: its root, its fruit, its majesty, and its provision. This Sunday, we turn our attention to the why. Why become a flourishing church? What is our motivation in pursuing this vision? We are given the answer in verse 24: “And all the trees of the field shall know that I am the Lord.” (Ezekiel 17:24). We are called to flourish to the glory of God!
