Dear Faith Community Church Family,
One of the most comforting truths that we see in the book of Hebrews is that Jesus is with us and for us in the Christian life. In other words, when we believe in Jesus, we are given a Savior who not only covers our sin with his own blood, but also actively helps us and aids us in every part of our Christian journey. Hebrews 2:18 says, “For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.” Jesus himself was tempted, yet he was victorious over sin in every instance. Today if you are tempted to sin, to despair, to anger, to pride–turn to Jesus, our Savior, who lives to help his redeemed people. Our passage for this Sunday is Hebrews 2:10-18.
This Sunday we will join together for the Lord’s Supper. Please prepare your hearts for this special covenantal meal through prayer and confession before Sunday’s service.

Kingdom Prayer Small Groups: Sunday, February 12
Kingdom Prayer small groups are a time for us to pray that the Lord would use our church to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in our community and neighborhoods. If you did not participate in a small group during the fall, this is an excellent opportunity to join a group. The next small group meeting will be held on Sunday, February 12 from 4:00pm-5:00pm in the following host homes: Isaac and Erin Evans, Dennis and Audrey Dobbs, Ben and Jackie Huggins, and Rhett and Valerie Austin.
Prayer Requests
Family of Jean Noorlag: Please pray for Jean’s family and friends as they mourn her loss.
Larry and Pat LaBelle: Pray for healing for Larry following a knee replacement surgery.
