Midweek Upate: April 19, 2023

Midweek Upate: April 19, 2023

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

On Sunday, we reflected on how the ongoing priestly ministry of Jesus allows us to draw near to God’s throne with confidence and boldness in prayer. This Sunday, we continue with learning more about Jesus’ priestly ministry on our behalf as we reflect on the uniqueness of his priesthood, according to “the order of Melchizedek”. Because he is perfect, Jesus is able to offer eternal salvation to all who obey him. Our sermon passage for this Sunday is Hebrews 5:1-10.

This Sunday we have the opportunity to celebrate and welcome new members into our church body! Come to worship with the readiness to extend “the right hand of fellowship” to these brothers and sisters.

The link for this week’s worship service (9:30am) is available here.

Church Directory Updates

We are in the process of updating the church directory. If you have any changes to your profile, forms are now available in the narthex to update your information. If you have not had your picture taken or would like an updated picture, Bryan Van Zanten will be available this Sunday (April 23) following the service to take photographs. If you prefer to use your own photo, please email it to the church office at churchoffice[at]faithchurchwc.org. Please notify the church if you would like a copy of the directory. We ask that you submit your updated or new forms to the church office by May 14th. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ellen Horyn or Diane Walker in the church office.

Assisting with Online Meal Sign-Up

Are you interested in helping facilitate the online sign-up when an FCC member/family needs meals? Once you know dietary restrictions and the frequency of meals, it is a short and simple process to enter the information online and let the FCC office know the name and password for a bulletin announcement. If you would like to know more about serving in this way, please reach out to Don Johnson.

Prayer Requests

Mike Horyn: Please pray for Mike as he continues to undergo physical therapy after a recent fall from a ladder.

Bill Crabtree: Pray for full healing for Bill who is undergoing additional testing after a recent hospitalization.

Karla Van Der Molen: Continue to pray for encouragement and perseverance for Karla as she navigates ALS.

In Him,

Pastor Rhett
