This past week we were led in worship by Rev. Andy Iversen. As we studied Romans 8:1-4, we see that there is no condemnation for those in Christ. Christ has fulfilled the righteous requirement that we could not. We are in Christ and free of the law of sin and death. Let us walk according to the spirit with this life in Christ by setting our minds on the things of the Spirit.
Our very own Rev. Don Johnson will be preaching this next Sunday from 2 Peter. Let us gather together on the Lord’s Day to worship and fellowship together. If you are unable to join us in person, the livestream link is: https://youtube.com/live/DX9cEmVp3xE
What a joy it is for us to celebrate with the Austins the birth of Mary Hope. Praise God that both mother and baby are doing well. Please contact Amy-Jo or Natalie if you would like to contribute a meal to the family.
If you have a pastoral concern or matter that needs to be addressed while Pastor Rhett is on parental leave, please feel free to email the elders: Tim or Larry.
Please Return Caring Network Baby Bottles
Thank you for your enthusiastic response to providing resources to our local Caring Network through our baby bottle drive! Baby bottles can still be brought in to drop off at church.

Crossroads Kids Club: Call for Volunteers
Recently in our worship service Tim Wierenga shared about an evangelism opportunity our church is aiming to launch this fall in a local public school called Crossroads Kids Club. We have had several people indicate interest, and we would love to build our team with a few more individuals who are eager to invest in local public school students with the gospel. We are also aiming to have a few members of our team join the regional training. If you are interested, you may sign up in the narthex or contact Valerie Austin.
Vision Campaign Timeline Update
Our Vision Campaign Committee has been meeting regularly and has been hard at work in supporting our church’s Called to Flourish vision by overseeing and planning for the financial campaign. Though our aim was to publicly introduce our financial campaign this spring, together with the elders the committee has prayerfully determined to move our financial campaign to this fall. Thank you for your continued prayers and investment in our Called to Flourish vision.
