Dear Faith Community Church Family,
Do you ever sense that there are multiple versions of “reality” in our culture? Let me explain what I mean. News outlets, the media, the places we shop, the restaurants where we eat, and even our friends and colleagues will bombard us with messages that say things like, “Follow your truth,” or, “We all know that the only viable view of gender and sexuality is [fill in the blank].” As Christians, we affirm that by virtue of being the Creator, God is the one who determines reality. He is the “really real.” God also defines and distinguishes right from wrong. Truth and morality are both rooted in the character and actions of God, who reveals himself through his Son and the Scriptures. This Sunday we take a fresh look at reality from God’s perspective. The sermon passage for Sunday is Hebrews 8:1-13.

Kingdom Prayer Small Groups
Our monthly Kingdom Prayer Small Groups will be taking a break during the summer months (June-August). Small groups will resume this September.
Budget Information

Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study
The Wednesday morning women’s Bible study will continue to meet during the summer for an informal time of fellowship, prayer, and outings. They will be reading the book Praying the Bible by Donald S. Whitney. The book will be provided. Donations are accepted but not required. All ladies are invited to attend.
Saturday Morning Men’s Bible Study
The men’s Saturday morning Bible study will meet through the end of June. They will not meet for the month of July and will resume the first Saturday of August.
Prayer Requests
Karla and Gary Van der Molen: Please continue to pray for encouragement and perseverance for Karla as she navigates ALS.
Family of Meryl Cunningham: Pray for comfort for the family of Meryl Cunningham, a former member of Faith Community, who recently went home to be with our Lord.
