Dear Brothers and Sisters,
One pattern that we see in several of the New Testament letters is the movement from explanation to application. Another way you could put this is the move from indicative to imperative, or, perhaps, from precept to practice. In the passage for this Sunday in our series The Glory of Christ, there is a grand transition in Hebrews from focusing on the teaching about Christ as our high priest to the implications (or application)of this beautiful doctrine for our lives and churches. God desires both our minds and our actions to be transformed by his Word as we “hold fast the confession of our hope” (Hebrews 10:23) and wait expectantly for the return of our Savior. The sermon text for this Sunday is Hebrews 10:19-25.

Crossroads Kids Club: Last Call for Volunteers
We are still seeking volunteers to help host an after-school evangelism and Bible club in a local public school with Crossroads Kids Club. We have room for several more volunteers to join our team. If you are interested, please get in touch with Val Austin as soon as you are able. Thanks for prayerfully considering this opportunity!
Caring Network Baby Bottle Drive
Through the Caring Network Baby Bottle Drive our church raised $948.66 to support this important ministry which serves women in unplanned pregnancies. Thank you for giving so generously to this ministry as we seek to be a church which affirms the sanctity of every human life and desires to see lives in our local community changed by the power of the gospel.

WeGo Together for Kids
Thank you to everyone who participated in the WeGo Together for Kids donation drive. Our aim was to collect 100 notebooks; however, we collected and donated 237! The notebooks were delivered last week. Thanks also to our Mercy Ministry Team for overseeing this project to serve our community.
