Dear Brothers and Sisters,
God never intended that we would live the Christian life alone. We need one another for support and encouragement in our spiritual journey. This is why the author of Hebrews says in last Sunday’s passage, “let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24). In fact, the author of Hebrews immediately “practices what he preaches” in the following section, Hebrews 10:26-39, our passage for this Sunday. He seeks to stir us up in the faith by giving a stark warning to persevere in the faith, by reminding the readers of their faithfulness in the midst of persecution in the past, and by pointing them to their future heavenly reward. This week let’s also put into practice the words of Hebrews to stir one another up to godliness and encourage one another in our Christian walk.

If you are interested, please get in touch with Val Austin this week. Thanks for prayerfully considering this opportunity!
