Midweek Update: April 3

Midweek Update: April 3

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

In Christ, we are a “new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17). We have died with Christ and have been raised to new life to serve him as our Savior and King. Praise God that all our sins have been nailed to the cross! It was a joy to worship with you at our Holy Week services.

As disciples of the risen Lord, we are called to bring the good news of salvation to our community and world. One way in which we are seeking to become a church of “fishers of men” is through our Evangelism Cohort. This spring (April 14-June 2), the cohort will meet for a discussion of the book Before You Share Your Faith during the Sunday school hour. This will be followed each week by a lunch, when we will focus on the three areas of prayer, planning, and practice. The cohort lunch will conclude each week by 1:30pm. The book discussion, during the normal Sunday school hour, is open to all, even if not participating in the cohort.

If you want to sign up for the cohort or to get additional information, click here.

This Sunday, Don Johnson will be preaching God’s Word for us from Philippians 4:4-7. Please prepare your heart through prayer and confession to come together for the Lord’s Supper this Sunday.
