Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Parable of the Sower may be the most famous of Jesus’ parables. It is, on one level, easy to understand, but on a deeper spiritual level, we can only receive and obey its message when the Spirit is working in our hearts and giving us the ability to do so. In this parable Jesus teaches about the nature of the Kingdom of God. It is a parable that urges us to petition God for soft hearts, receptive to the gospel, in order that we may bear much fruit. Prayerfully prepare your hearts to receive and to obey the words of Jesus from Mark 4:1-20.
