Midweek Update: May 22, 2024

Dear Faith Community Church Family,

On Sunday, Wade Urig challenged us to carry the glory of God outward, instead of moving inward and pursuing our own glory (Gen 11:1-9). By God’s kindness, our church continues to grow in becoming “fishers of men.” The foundation for this fruit has been Kingdom Prayer. Some of the avenues by which we’ve been pursuing Kingdom Prayer is through our Kingdom Prayer Gatherings, Prayer Drives, Sunday morning pre-service prayer, and the Evangelism Cohort. When God’s people pray, God always hears and responds!

We have more opportunities ahead of us to share the joy of the Gospel through inviting our friends and neighbors to our June 8th Community CelebrationPlease make an effort to sign up to volunteer in at least one way on the sign-up sheet in the narthex this Sunday. Let’s be sure to continue to pray for this event and for all those the Lord brings to this celebration!

This Sunday, our sermon passage is Mark 4:21-25.
