Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Our Prayer Dinner this past Sunday encouraged all who attended as we prayed for our world, our community, and even local church needs. Thank you to all who served by preparing food or setting out utensils and thank you to Lawrence and Simple for leading us in prayer. Thank the Lord that He is making us more and more into a church of kingdom prayer.
The next passage in Mark, Mark 12:18-27, speaks to God as the God of the living. Jesus reminds us that the resurrection is assured based on God’s identity as the God of living people. As you look forward to this Sunday, meditate on how your destiny is to live forever with the Lord. Keep in mind this truth which the Sadducees rejected – the resurrection is coming, and for all those who are in Christ, we will be raised to new and eternal life with Him forever and ever! Amen.

Communications Assistant Found: Welcome Valerie Austin to her new position
Thank you for your prayers for our church during our search for both a new administrative assistant and a new communications assistant. Welcome and congratulate Valerie Austin on her new position as our Communications Assistant. She will greatly help us in delivering news about our church to the broader community. She has been working hard in her new role, and she is excited for this new work. Congratulate her when you see her!

Prayer Requests
Phyl Holt: Please pray for encouragement and healing for Phyl Holt as she continues to heal from a stroke in Pine View Care Center in St. Charles.
Gary and Karla Van Der Molen: Please pray for strength for Gary after returning home from a recent hospitalization; continue to pray for encouragement and provision for Gary and Karla as they attend to Karla’s ALS.
Joanna & Meng Koh: Joanna (Wierenga) and Meng Koh are expecting twins in April. Pray for protection and health for babies and mother.
