Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This is the week that changed the world. No, I’m not referring to any particular event you might have come across in the news over the last several days. This is “Holy Week,” the week Jesus rode into Jerusalem as the King of Israel, died for the sins of the world, and which reached its climax with his glorious resurrection on the third day. For believers, this week is the lens through which every other week in history is read. Salvation has been purchased for us. We belong to our great Savior who will never leave us nor forsake us! Our King suffered, died, and rose on our behalf. This was a week like no other.
On Friday we will come together for our Good Friday service at 6:30pm. Following the service, we will take a brief break, then hold a prayer vigil in the Worship Center until approximately 9:30pm.
On Sunday, come ready to worship our risen Savior! The Scripture passage for this Sunday is 1 Corinthians 15:1-20. There will be no Sunday school this week.

Easter Explored: April 27, May 4, and May 18 at 5pm in Room 1
More than bunnies and lilies, Easter is the proclamation for Christians everywhere that Jesus is not dead but alive and reigning on His heavenly throne even now. Do you or a neighbor, co-worker, friend, or family member have questions or any curiosity about why Christians care about Easter and the resurrection so much? Easter Explored, on April 27th, May 4th, and May 18th at 5pm in Room 1, is the perfect chance to discuss what all the Easter fuss is about. Dinner is provided! Prayer Drive: Saturday, May 3rd (10:00am-Noon)
Back by popular demand, the prayer drive is on this year for Saturday, May 3rd from 10:00am to noon. We will meet at the church at 10:00am, and we will follow a route to pray over the many areas involved in our town. More information to come as we get closer to that date.

Dennis Dobbs: Praise God that Dennis returned home from the hospital on Saturday; pray for upcoming appointments with heart doctors.
Phyl Holt: Please pray for encouragement and healing for Phyl Holt as she continues to heal from a stroke in Pine View Care Center in St. Charles.
Gary and Karla Van Der Molen: Continue to pray for strength for both Gary and Karla as they attend to Karla’s ALS.
Joanna & Meng Koh (Daughter and Son-in-law of Tim and Amy-Jo Wierenga): Praise God for the birth of Mila and Anaiyah; pray for safety as the Wierengas visit Joanna, Meng, and the grandchildren in Denver.
