Dear Brothers and Sisters,
He is risen! (Everyone shouts from their homes, “He is risen indeed!”) We return to our “Follow Me” series in Mark this coming Sunday with Mark 12:41-44. We thank the Lord that our Savior is risen and calls us to follow Him where He has gone, even into death, because He truly is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Our passage this Sunday speaks to the theme of sacrifice when a poor widow gives all she has to the offering, though in a strict sense it was probably one of the smaller offerings that day. Our Lord does not call us all to the same offerings as each other, but He challenges us to discern how relatively extravagant we might be in offering our lives to Him.

Sunday School: Returning this Sunday!
Sunday School will resume this Sunday, April 27th, and continue until May 18th. We will take a break from Sunday School on May 11th for Mother’s Day.
Men’s Bible Study: Meet at the Church, Room 1 starting April 26th at 8am.
Our beloved elder, Larry LaBelle, is enjoying vacation visiting his family with Pat for the next few weeks, so Men’s Bible Study will meet at the church for the next few weeks starting this Saturday, April 26th. Jonathan and Dan Kok will lead while Larry is away.
Easter Explored: April 27, May 4, and May 18 at 5pm in Room 1
More than bunnies and lilies, Easter is the proclamation for Christians everywhere that Jesus is not dead but alive and reigning on His heavenly throne even now. Do you or a neighbor, co-worker, friend, or family member have questions or any curiosity about why Christians care about Easter and the resurrection so much? Easter Explored, on April 27th, May 4th, and May 18th at 5pm in Room 1, is the perfect chance to discuss what all the Easter fuss is about. Dinner is provided! Prayer Drive: Saturday, May 3rd (10:00am-Noon)
Back by popular demand, the prayer drive is on this year for Saturday, May 3rd from 10:00am to noon. We will meet at the church at 10:00am, and we will follow a route to pray over the many areas involved in our town. More information to come as we get closer to that date.
