Dear Faith Community Church Family,
We have a wonderful weekend ahead of us! This Saturday from 11:00am to 3:00pm we’ll hold our Community Celebration at the church. Get the word out to friends, family, and neighbors for this special event. There will be free food, live music, games, inflatables, and a chance to see Pastor Rhett and Jonathan fall into a very cold dunk tank!
This Friday between 10:00am and 2:00pm feel free to come and join us as we set up for the event.
Please continue to pray that the Lord would bless the Community Celebration and would use us to be a light and a blessing to our neighbors.
On Sunday we conclude our three-week series Called to Proclaim His Excellencies. Our text for this Lord’s Day is 1 Peter 2:9-10.

Congregational Meeting: June 29th (Following the Worship Service)
Our summer congregational meeting will be June 29th right after the service. We will meet for a time of prayer, updates on where the church has been, as well as things to look forward to. We’ll also be presenting the budget for the next year. We’ll have a Q&A time during the meeting for any questions that you may have about anything related to the church. All members are encouraged to attend.

Prayer Requests
Abby Armstrong: Pray that the Lord would bless the upcoming marriage of Abby and Eli Hoon.
Vivian Wissing: Please pray for relief from neck pain and wisdom regarding the best path of treatment.
Dennis Dobbs: Pray for a full recovery following a heart surgery last week.
Nick Wetherington: Nick and Lily married on May 31st. Thank the Lord for overseeing all parts of the ceremony and pray for a great start to their marriage.
Tom Ollendorf: Tom is scheduled to have hernia surgery on June 12; pray for strength and a swift recovery.
Gary Van Der Molen: Pray for Gary and his family as they mourn Karla’s passing; pray for Gary as he continues to undergo his own treatments.
Simple Owinya: Pray for Simple in her final stages of pregnancy, and for both Lawrence and Simple to be equipped with compassion and grace as future parents.
Phyl Holt: Praise God that Phyl has completed rehab following her stroke and returned home on Monday.
