Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Apostle John says in 1 John 5:14, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.” We can say with confidence that the Lord heard and responded to our prayers to bless the outreach celebration on Saturday! It was a wonderful example putting our Called to Flourish vision into practice as we reached out and connected with neighbors and members of our community. In total, we had approximately 240 people attend! Praise God that when we ask according to his will, he always hears us! A special thanks to our planning committee and to everyone who served to make this event so special!
This Sunday we return to our series Follow Me in the Gospel of Mark. The passage for this Lord’s Day is Mark 14:1-11.

Congregational Meeting: June 29th (Following the Worship Service)
Our summer congregational meeting will be held June 29th right after the service. We will meet for a time of prayer, provide updates on where the church has been, as well as things to look forward to this fall. We’ll also be presenting the budget for the next year. We’ll have a Q&A time during the meeting for any questions you may have about anything related to the church. All members are encouraged to attend.

Larry LaBelle: Praise God for a successful knee replacement surgery; pray for a quick recovery as Larry begins physical therapy this week.
Abbie Armstrong: Praise God for the marriage of Abbie and Eli Hoon last Saturday.
Vivian Wissing: Please pray for continued relief from neck pain.
Dennis Dobbs: Pray for a full recovery following a recent heart surgery.
Gary Van Der Molen: Pray for Gary as he continues to undergo medical treatment.
Simple Owinya: Pray for Simple in her final stages of pregnancy, and for both Lawrence and Simple to be equipped with compassion and grace as future parents.
Phyl Holt: Praise God that Phyl has completed rehab following her stroke and returned home last week.
