Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I am reporting in live from General Assembly this week! Rhett and I have already been encouraged by the fellowship of many elders and their guests this week. Continue to pray for the Assembly to glorify God in its worship and business.
We continue in Mark for this coming Lord’s Day with Mark 14:12-21. Here, Jesus tells His disciples how to prepare for them to partake Passover together, going ahead of Him to request a room already prepared for Him. Then, at the table, Jesus informs His guests of the traitor among them. How amazing is it that Jesus is such a host as to have all the rooms of the world at His beck and call, and how much more amazing is it that our Lord invited even His enemy, Judas, to dine with Him. Look at the Lord’s great hospitality and see how He has invited even someone like you to dine with Him at the heavenly marriage supper one day.

Men’s Bible Study: This Saturday (8:00am)
Men’s Bible study will meet at Don Johnson’s house this Saturday at 8:00am. This will be our last meeting of the summer; we will resume in September.
Congregational Meeting: June 29th (Following the Worship Service)
Our summer congregational meeting will be held June 29th (this Sunday) right after the service. We will meet for a time of prayer, provide updates on where the church has been, as well as things to look forward to this fall. We’ll also be presenting the budget for the next year. We’ll have a Q&A time during the meeting for any questions you may have about anything related to the church. All members are encouraged to attend.
Real Concerts: June 28th at 6:30pm
Jake Muzzy, cello, and Mike Messer, piano, will envelop us into a world of poetry by featuring Elgar’s Cello Concerto. Come to hear them “renew the world as of yore” this Saturday at 6:30pm here at the church. For more information, please go to https://realconcerts.us/.

Prayer Requests
Larry LaBelle: Praise God for a successful knee replacement surgery; pray for a quick recovery as Larry continues physical therapy.
Vivian Wissing: Please pray for continued relief from neck pain.
Dennis Dobbs: Pray for a full recovery following a recent heart surgery.
Gary Van Der Molen: Pray for Gary as he continues to undergo medical treatment.
Simple Owinya: Pray for Simple in her final stages of pregnancy, and for both Lawrence and Simple to be equipped with confidence in the delivery team as they anticipate delivery this week. May God equip them with all resources, earthly and spiritual to guide little Aloya in the way that she should go.
Phyl Holt: Praise God that Phyl has completed rehab following her stroke and returned home. Pray for her ongoing recovery.
