We love children at FCC and are always thrilled to hear their voices during worship. Parents are always welcome to keep their kids with them during the service. For those who wish to bring their children to a nursery, we offer nursery care during worship for children up to 4 years old.
All our adult nursery staff are joyful servants who participate in annual trainings and background checks. We are thankful to have trustworthy, experienced volunteers running our nursery.
Faith Community Church is also thankful for our junior nursery staff, consisting of youth, who also participate in annual training and have a heart for children.
Each Sunday, our nursery is staffed by one adult and one junior volunteer. When you bring your children to nursery to check in, you will receive a pager. If you are a first-time guest, we will ask for a little more information in order to best care for your child. Please be sure to let us know about any allergy, toileting, or custodial concerns. At any point during the service, you are welcome to bring your children to the nursery or to pick them up from the nursery. Please collect your children within fifteen minutes of the conclusion of the service. Remember to sign your children out! For security reasons, we are only permitted to release a child to the guardian who dropped him or her off (or any other adult designated by the guardian at the time of drop-off).
During nursery, children are engaged in calm play and listen to Bible stories and songs led by our volunteers. We will also pray with your children. We are thankful to be able to serve your family!
There are copies of our children’s ministry policy available for parents at check-in. Our aim is for our nursery to be a transparent and safe place for everyone, and we welcome your comments and feedback.
