THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD

The Reading of Scripture

Prov 29:22: A man of wrath stirs up strife,
and one given to anger causes much transgression.

Prov 15:18: A hot-tempered man stirs up strife,
but he who is slow to anger quiets contention.

Prov 20:22: Do not say, “I will repay evil”;
wait for the Lord, and he will deliver you.

Prov 25:21-22: 21 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat,
and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink,
22 for you will heap burning coals on his head,
and the Lord will reward you.
